Comet of Dreams is Robert Godlewski's musical outlet where he writes and produces progressive instrumental rock music. Robert Godlewski is a sound producer, songwriter, and multi-musician who is from the Puget Sound Area in Washington State.
Comet of Dreams belongs to the Progressive rock music genre. Robert only plays and records guitar and drums live for Comet of Dreams music at is home studio. For the synths, miscellaneous percussion sounds, and other sounds he uses MIDI for Comet of Dreams music. Comet of Dreams style is like a mixture of Tool, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin. Musical inspirations come from Hard Rock, Traditional Heavy Metal, and Progressive Metal/Rock groups like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Tool, Dream Theater, Plini, and Aaron Marshall.
The themes and inspiration for Comet of Dreams' music comes from several fantasy and Sci-Fi books, movies, games like Tolkien's work (Hobbit and Lord of the Rings), Vikings on History Channel, Game of Thrones, Star Trek, Star Wars, and from the famous Dungeon's and Dragons Game.
Comet of Dreams has so far has only released their first EP (The Voyage) online in January 2020.
Comet of Dreams is currently finding a graphic artist for the second EP, Crusader. We are expecting to release it by May 2021. Along with the new EP, Comet of Dreams is also currently making music videos for both the new EP and our latest release, The Voyage.
After the release of Crusader, we are going to transition to another couple of projects such as making music videos for both The Voyage and Crusader. We are also opening up a Music Producing service so that we can more actively work with others musicians. The events of COVID-19 has drastically devastated everyone including musical artists who want to work with others and record their music. We want to remotely help those artists turn their musical ideas into a good sounding recording that they can stream and sell to the public. We can achieve this by helping them with the songwriting and guide them through the recording process of their songs.
